ALTOONA, PA –The Independent Catholic Foundation is thrilled to announce Jay Paterno as Keynote Speaker for the ICF 35th Anniversary Gala, an elegant evening celebrating our thirty-five years as a catalyst of Catholic Philanthropy. This celebration will take place at the Blair County Convention Center on Sunday, September 14.
Guests will enjoy a delightful social hour, bar and gourmet dinner, honor distinguished award recipients, and be inspired by Jay Paterno’s reflections of his family’s Catholic legacy. The Master of Ceremonies will be WTAJ News Anchor Marty Radovanic.
State College native Jay Paterno is a best-selling author, podcaster, columnist, television and radio producer, and college sports consultant. He spent 22 seasons coaching football, including 17 at Penn State where he developed top quarterbacks and led nationally ranked recruiting classes. Jay serves on several civic and charitable organization boards and has been a visible media presence on major networks and social media platforms.
Proceeds from the Gala will benefit Catholic Charities of Altoona-Johnstown.
