The Foundation for the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown protects the personal privacy of constituents by maintaining confidentiality of all constituent information. To ensure the privacy of individuals, organizations, foundations, and corporations, constituent information will be released only after consent is obtained from the constituent. Exceptions are made only for the purposes of advancing the Foundation through resource development efforts that require constituent information to identify donor prospects, develop strategies, present gift proposals and ensure proper stewardship of donors and volunteers. In general, the Foundation is guided by "A Code of Christian Ethics” and the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ (AFP) Code of Ethics and Donor Bill of Rights are incorporated into administrative policy and day-to-day work of the Diocesan Office of Development, which provides contracted support to the Foundation.
